Frequently asked questions

How do I start a project?

Send your files and a short brief through the quote form. We reply with a fixed quote; once you approve it, work starts.

Which countries do you work for?

The USA, the UK, Canada and Australia. We draft to each country's codes, units and conventions.

Can you use our title block and CAD standard?

Yes. We set up every project in your template, layers, styles and title block.

Which software do you use?

AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Navisworks, Tekla, Advance Steel, SolidWorks, Inventor, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape, Lumion and KeyShot.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before you send any files if you wish.

Who owns the drawings?

You do. All drawings, models and files belong to you once the invoice is paid.

Do you stamp drawings?

No. Where drawings must be sealed, the licensed architect or engineer of record reviews and stamps them. We work to their markups.

How are revisions handled?

Each quote includes revision rounds. Send markups as PDF comments, sketches or a short list; changes outside the agreed scope are quoted before we do them.

How do we communicate during a project?

By email, Microsoft Teams, Slack or your project platform – whatever your team already uses.

How do I pay?

Payment terms and methods are confirmed on your quote. New clients usually pay a deposit on the first project.
