What our landscape design drawings include
Landscape projects are judged in 3D but built from plans. A landscaper needs the paving layout setting out from fixed points, the levels for steps and falls, the planting plan with species, sizes and spacing, and construction details for walls, edges and steps. We produce that set from your concept or develop the concept with you.
For planning submissions, landscape plans are often a condition of approval: planting schedules, tree protection, boundary treatments and sustainable drainage features. We prepare drawings to the format your council or municipality expects, working with the arborist's or ecologist's reports you provide.
Retaining walls over typical prescriptive heights need structural design – see retaining wall design. For pools, see swimming pool design; for site-wide grading, grading and drainage plans.

We set up every project on the standard of the country where it will be built or manufactured. These are the references we work to most often:
| Country | Standards and codes we draft landscape design services to |
|---|---|
| USA | Local landscape ordinances and water-efficient landscape rules (e.g. California MWELO), ADA routes for commercial sites |
| UK | BS 5837 trees in relation to design and construction, BS 4428 landscape operations, SuDS requirements |
| Canada | Municipal landscape standards and tree protection bylaws, Canadian Landscape Standard (CSLA/CNLA) |
| Australia | Council DCP landscape controls, AS 4970 protection of trees on development sites, AS 4419 soils |
How our landscape design services process works
- 1Send your files
Upload sketches, PDFs, markups, photos, scans or a model through the quote form. Tell us the standard (US, UK, Canada or Australia) and the deadline.
- 2Fixed quote in hours
We review the scope and reply with a fixed price, the deliverables list and a delivery date. Nothing starts until you approve it.
- 3Drafting & modeling
Your project is drawn in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, SolidWorks or the software you use, on your title block, layers and templates.
- 4QA check
A second drafter checks dimensions, annotations, layer standards, sheet numbering and cross-references against your input before anything is sent.
- 5Delivery & revisions
You receive native files plus PDFs. Comments come back as markups and we revise them quickly until the set matches the brief.
Turnaround and pricing
A residential garden plan set usually takes 4–6 business days; development landscape packages are quoted by site area. Every job is priced as a fixed quote after we review your files, so you know the cost and the delivery date before work starts. See how our pricing works, or send your files through the quote form for a quick estimate.
