Four ways we price work
| Pricing model | Best for | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Per sheet / per drawing | PDF to CAD, digitization, redline updates, simple 2D drafting | A fixed price per sheet based on complexity, agreed after we see samples. |
| Fixed project price | Permit sets, BIM models, shop drawing packages, renderings | One price for an agreed scope and deliverables list, with milestones for larger work. |
| Hourly | Ongoing small tasks, unclear scope, support work | Billed by the hour with timesheets per task. |
| Monthly retainer | Dedicated drafter or BIM modeler for your team | A fixed number of hours each month at a lower effective rate. |
What affects the price
- Quality of the input: clear, dimensioned sketches and complete markups cost less to draft than faded scans with missing information.
- Complexity and density: a detail sheet with hundreds of notes takes longer than a simple floor plan.
- Software and standard: working in your template is fast once set up; a new template or LOD 400 model takes more time.
- Turnaround: rush delivery is possible, but needs more people on the job.
- Revisions: each quote includes revision rounds; design changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately.
What every quote includes
- A list of deliverables and file formats
- The number of revision rounds included
- Delivery date or milestone dates
- Second-drafter QA check before delivery
- Native files and PDFs, owned by you once paid

Frequently asked questions
How much do CAD drafting services cost?
It depends on the type of work, the input quality and the turnaround. We give a fixed price after reviewing your files; read our guide to CAD drafting costs for typical pricing models.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and usually sent within a few business hours.
How many revisions are included?
Each quote states the revision rounds included – typically one or two rounds of markups. Changes to the design brief are quoted separately.
