What our renovation design service includes
Renovation design starts with the truth about the existing building. We draw existing conditions from your measurements, a Matterport tour or a laser scan – because a proposal drawn on an inaccurate base causes problems the moment walls come down.
We then develop layout options with you: opening up a kitchen, adding a bathroom, converting a loft or basement, extending at the rear. Drawings clearly separate what is removed, what stays and what is new, which is what contractors and permit offices need. Load-bearing changes are flagged for your structural engineer.
Existing data from scans is handled through point cloud modeling or building measurement. To see the result before you build, add 3D home rendering.

|---|---|
| USA | IRC/IBC and the IEBC (International Existing Building Code), local permit rules for alterations |
| UK | Building Regulations Approved Documents, permitted development rights, party wall procedures (Party Wall etc. Act 1996) |

| Australia | NCC 2022, council exempt and complying development rules, state renovation and heritage controls |
How our renovation design services process works
- 1Send your files
Upload sketches, PDFs, markups, photos, scans or a model through the quote form. Tell us the standard (US, UK, Canada or Australia) and the deadline.
- 2Fixed quote in hours
We review the scope and reply with a fixed price, the deliverables list and a delivery date. Nothing starts until you approve it.
- 3Drafting & modeling
Your project is drawn in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, SolidWorks or the software you use, on your title block, layers and templates.
- 4QA check
A second drafter checks dimensions, annotations, layer standards, sheet numbering and cross-references against your input before anything is sent.
- 5Delivery & revisions
You receive native files plus PDFs. Comments come back as markups and we revise them quickly until the set matches the brief.
Turnaround and pricing
Existing drawings typically take 2–4 business days; layout options 3–5 days; the permit set 3–6 days after approval. Every job is priced as a fixed quote after we review your files, so you know the cost and the delivery date before work starts. See how our pricing works, or send your files through the quote form for a quick estimate.
