What our SWPPP and erosion control service includes
In the US, construction sites that disturb one acre or more (or are part of a larger common plan) generally need coverage under the EPA or a state Construction General Permit, which requires a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. Many municipalities also require erosion and sediment control plans for smaller sites. Other countries use similar plans under different names – erosion and sediment control plans (ESCP) in Australia and Canada, or construction environmental management plans in the UK.
We prepare the drawings and documents: site maps with drainage areas and outfalls, BMP layouts for each construction phase, standard details from your state or municipal manual, and the SWPPP narrative, inspection and maintenance forms. Site-specific information – contacts, operators, schedules – is filled in from your inputs.
Erosion control drawings are built on the grading and drainage plan; utility trenching phases come from the site utility plans.

SWPPP and Erosion Control Plans standards in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia
We set up every project on the standard of the country where it will be built or manufactured. These are the references we work to most often:
| Country | Standards and codes we draft SWPPP and erosion control plans to |
|---|---|
| USA | EPA 2022 Construction General Permit or state CGP (e.g. California CGP with QSD/QSP requirements, TPDES TXR150000), NPDES, state BMP manuals |
| UK | Environment Agency pollution prevention guidance (GPP 5), CIRIA C741 environmental good practice on site, CDM 2015 |
| Canada | Provincial/municipal ESC guidelines (e.g. TRCA Erosion and Sediment Control Guide), federal Fisheries Act deleterious substance rules |
| Australia | IECA Best Practice Erosion and Sediment Control guidelines, state EPA requirements, council ESCP conditions |
Engineering responsibility: we prepare drawings, models and calculations as a drafting and design-support team. Where the law in your state, province or council requires it, the final design must be reviewed, signed and sealed by the licensed engineer or architect of record for the project. We work to their markups and do not stamp drawings ourselves.
How our SWPPP and erosion control plans process works
- 1Send your files
Upload sketches, PDFs, markups, photos, scans or a model through the quote form. Tell us the standard (US, UK, Canada or Australia) and the deadline.
- 2Fixed quote in hours
We review the scope and reply with a fixed price, the deliverables list and a delivery date. Nothing starts until you approve it.
- 3Drafting & modeling
Your project is drawn in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, SolidWorks or the software you use, on your title block, layers and templates.
- 4QA check
A second drafter checks dimensions, annotations, layer standards, sheet numbering and cross-references against your input before anything is sent.
- 5Delivery & revisions
You receive native files plus PDFs. Comments come back as markups and we revise them quickly until the set matches the brief.
Turnaround and pricing
Erosion control drawings and a SWPPP for a typical small site take 3–6 business days. Every job is priced as a fixed quote after we review your files, so you know the cost and the delivery date before work starts. See how our pricing works, or send your files through the quote form for a quick estimate.
